KEY - The ancestry thereof

This post comes from British Columbia Canada.
I am looking into the past of my Swedish relatives, specifically:
My grandfather, Louis Ross Ramsault Key.
His mother, Ethel Mary McKay, and his father Leonard R Key.
 
If anyone has any information on the McKay, or Key lines please let me know.

There is one Key family in Sweden, descending from colonel James Key (according to Karl A K:son Leijonhufvud, Ny svensk släktbok). It has earlier been said to be descended from a scottish clan by the name of McKay, but that has not been proven, and can not be used in the genealogy of the Key family. I have the Swedish Key family in my genealogical database, containing persons such as the Swedish (classical) liberal, Emil Key, and his daughter, the feminist and socialist Ellen Key. I do not find any Leonard R Key, and I do not find any Lennart R Key either (Leonard could be used as an anglicized form of Lennart).
