I am looking for the parents of Olof Håkansson,
b.1696, and Ingrid Nilsdotter,b.1725, both in Algutsboda,Kalmar. They had a son,Haquin (Hakvin) Moström,b. 1752,who married in Grandgarde,Kopperberg.I looked in the HFL but the years did not cover this period,at least I could not find them. I am hoping someone can help me.

Hello Nancy,
For Algutsboda there are no church books before 1722. The oldest ones were destroyed in a fire at the vicarage. The first HFL (AI:1) begins with the year 1757. But the church book C:1 contains records of birth, marriage and death in Algutsboda from 1722.
I have looked for a Nils's daughter Ingrid in 1725 but I could not find any. Perhaps the year is wrong in the old church books or I have missed it.

Hello Sweden,
My husband is a Håkansson descendant from Hammarlunda.  His line is:  
Malta Howard b. 9/25/1907 in Algelhom,
Nils b. 1/02/1861 in Hammarlunda,
Clous b. abt 1840 - parish unknown.
 
Nils married Johanna Larsson in 1887, Sweden. She was b. 6/23/1864 in Torrlösa. Her parents were; Nils Larsson (1822) in Torrlösa and Gunilla Hakans (1828) also Torrlösa.
 
Clous married Amelia Nilsson abr 1860 - Sweden.
She was b. abt 1840 - parish unknown.  
 
Would like to learn about Clous's and Amelia's ancestors.

Some questions: Is Clous maybe Claus, and do you have any family name? Is he the father of Nils? I have found Nils parentes and his fathers name is Nils Håkansson b. 1825 in Högseröds parrish, his mother is Elina Svensson b. 1828 in Quiinge parrish al in Malmöhus county.

Thank you for your reply. I have asked to resume this family's ressearch so to begin with, I would like to make some corrections to my first posting (26 Sep 2006).  I was wrong about Nils' parents.  It was as you stated, Nils and Elina.  I have also found Nils (b. 1825) parents as Håkan Nilsson b. 14 Dec 1781 in Högseröd and Maria Christiansdotter b. 7 May 1797,also in Högseröd. They were married about 1808 in Högseröd.  I am now hoping to locate Håkan ancestors.  Bye the way - the name Clous/Claus was referred to me by my sister-in-law that didn't have a source but thought the name was correct.  I kept looking and found the right parents but am stuck at this point.  Would be most grateful for any help.
