Bulmering from Gotland

Hej!
 
Christina Bulmering was born abt. 1620-1624 and it is said, that she came from Gotland.
1641 she married Dirich Block in L?beck, later around 1658 Friedrich Strodtmann.
 
I'm looking for her ancesters in (Visby?) Gotland.

Christina must be the daugther to Steffen Bulmering born 1580-1600 in Lubeck Germany, came to Gotland
lived in Visby 1659, had one son Ewert died 1686 in Visby, the wife born 1628 in Lubeck died in visby 1691, had 10 children, Ewert, Peter, Gertrud, Elisabeth,
Anna and 5 more. From an old family book.

But there are some questions that must be clarified.
In the archieves of Lübeck I found a family-tree from 18th century concerning Bulmering.
It looks like Christina (* abt. 1620), Steffen (* 1610) and Ewert (* abt. 1615) had been brothers and sister  
- but no named father, only from Gotland for all three was noticed.
 
When Steffen was baptized in Lübeck, church of St.Aegidien, his father was named 'Peter'
 
Ewert was 'Holzvogt in Lübeck' and administrator of an estate 15 km south of Lübeck; around 1670 he must have gone with his family to Visby, where he died in 1686. His son Eberhard was born 1648 in Lübeck and died 1724 in Visby.
As a second name of Ewert I found 'Ewert Stefenson Bulmering', so his father would be indeed another Steffen (brother of the upper 'Peter'??)
 
And where is my Christina from? Was she named in that family-book?
 
I hope to find some help from a Visby-expert for these early Bulmerings.

Was it you that I had contact with earlier concerning the Bulmering family?  
Did you send me the Bulmering family tree? I think it was someone else from California. Where do you live? I live in Old Uppsala, Sweden. My father was born on Gotland. Did I send you my information about the Bulmering family?
 
I started to prepare an article about the family Bulmering as soon as I saw your question here, but I figured out that I had to write some more in my database before publishing it here in Anbytarforum under Släkter (Families). I hope to be done with that as soon as possible.
 
Thanks Sune for answering in the meanwhile. Christina is not mentioned in that family-book I don't think. But my guess was that she was a sister of Stefan and Ewert, which seems to fit with Michael's thoughts above.
 
I don't know of what worth the note is about Christina coming from Gotland. When was that written down? Where does it say so, what source? What time should she been leaving Gotland?
 
I always thought the Bulmering family came from Lübeck originally, but according to this source Christina could have been born in Gotland then? In such a case presumably in Visby, if at all from Gotland, which I still doubt.
 
I will start a new discussion here in the swedish part of Anbytarforum under Släkter (Families) with my information about the Bulmering family. Maybe you can put your information there too or kindly send it to me?

Hi, Stefan, that's right, we had a contact three or four years ago and that 'Peter Bulmering'-list I sent to you.
 
Now I started a new action to clarify the early Bulmerings in Lübeck and/or Visby.
 
My source still is the Stadtarchiv Lübeck, where I found a note Christina Bulmering von Gothland when she was married to Friedrich Strodtmann in 1658 and another note by J.H. Schnobel, when he about 1790 put Christina, Steffen and Ewert [Eberhard] Bulmering in one sister-brother-line in that family-tree - without any birth-day and without a father's name! He only put them together by a bracket; but obviously Schnobel didn't know the exact connection.  
Only in the churchbook of St. Aegidien 1610 the name of Steffen's father was given as 'Peter'. Might be that there was another Steffen that time? Of same age?
 
So this was the reason now to move to Sweden (anbytaforum), to Gotland, to find better sources for my Bulmering research on that island. Who are the fathers of that three? In Lübeck I didn't find.  
And I think it will be very good, if you start a new discussion the swedish way on anbytaforum. What do they know about Bulmerings in Visby between apr. 1550 to 1650?

Thank you very much, Michael for your answer here and for your updated e-mail with all the new information about the Bulmering family. I am looking forward to see if there is any solution to this problem about their ancestry!  
 
There is one expert in Stockholm, that knows the most about medieval Visby and the people living there and his name is Dick Wase. Maybe you can check with him if he knows more now than before, but I rather doubt it. I don't have his e-mail, but I think it is easy to find! He had an own homepage too.
