Allen Carl Fredrickson

Fredricksson's I know there are many in Sweden.
I am looking for the parents of Karl Albert Fredricksson born 13 dec. 1869 in Lysing or Närke Sweden. Married Matilda Sofia Göthe in 1895 in Motala. Had a child Carl Simon 1896 in Motala. (My father) Emigrated in 1898 to America, entered in New York Harbor. Lived and died 1948 in Connecticut.  We were told Karl Albert Fredricksson's father was Oskar Fredrick Marsh from Mantorp but cannot find anything about him or his wife. Can you please guide me so I can find his records in Sweden? We think Marsh was an Army name. The name Närman was mentioned as part of our family, but I was a child then and cannot recall why. I really need your help.

And now with the right date of emigration, they were also found in the Emigranten as having left from Motala in 1900 June 27 through the port of Göteborg, and with tickets for New York.

So hte next step is to check the church records for Motala, and find out where they all were born. You can find those records through the Mormon Family History Centers, as you probably know.
