Sveriges dödbok 1901-2009 (the death index) I find her, Anna Stina Nilsson, born Andersdotter but the date of birth given is Jan 31, 1836, Vassända-Naglum parish. Date of death Mar 19, 1909, widow.
I suggest you post a question under the heading Vassända-Naglum parish.

Looking for A. Nelson I have a picture of him about 1918 In Hyde Park Area of Chicago Where he is holding a Newspaper of the Executive Church association. And has a hat on That Says (For A Dry Chicago} and during the years of Womens Temperance.
May have been a relative of Gustaf Nilssons and Anna Stina Andersdotters and their children Anna Matilda Gustafsdotter Emma Charlotta who was said to be born in Vassända-Naglum and Maria Kristina in Trollhättan.

My Great Grandfathers name was Gustaf A Fahlberg and I have his business card from Sweden either Stockholm but may have been in Ludgo parish 26 Jan. 1827 near Nyköping, Södermanland where he was born.
I was told it may have been a hotel in either town.

Can we determine who their parents where?

I see Frans Gustafson his son Emigrating to Chicago, USA via Liverpool & Queenstown on 4/11/1892 and with him was an Olivia Nilsson age 39. if that is any help in finding this family of mine.

From what I can see they had a first daughter - Emma Charlotta born Oct 15 1863 in Naglum.
All other children born in Trollhättan - they moved there in 1866..
I guess Amanda already left.

1.The father of Gustaf Alfred born 18690923 in Göteborgs Domkyrkoförsamling, Göteborgs och Bohus län; is Gustaf Adolf Fahlberg born 18270126 in Ludgo, Södermanlans län. Gustaf Adolf Fahlberg died 18750924.

2.the father was Gustaf Adoph Tornros.

As they also are the ancestors of one of my friends I have some further info about their family and Maria's ancestry. If you are interested I can post it, but then under Bälinge parish as that's where Maria's ancestors lived.

Can you advise the parents of Trollhättan Emil Gustafsson who emigrated to Chicago 10/29/1909, . he was born 1884/1885 according to the CD Emigranten Populär 2.
When he arrived in the USA 1909 he stayed at my grandparents home (Grandmother is Anna Mathilda b 09/28/1870 in Trollhättan as shown above.
So I am certain he was a close relative.

She had two boys, Karl Oskar born 09/04/1882 and Emil born 09/26/1885. It looks like this Emil emigrated 1909 to US, but this I cannot confirm.
Can you tell me If and when Emil and Karl may have Emigrated orof any family they may have had in Sweden.

My father Andreas Gustaf E.Olafsson born 1878 in Markaryd, Sweden.
on arrival in New York he showed his occupation as a licensed Chaffeur, he also raced 2 passengers seat one for the driver the other for the mechanic. In his last race the mechanic was killed and he was badly injured thats when he became a Chaffeur.
Do you know if there would be a record kept by the goverment or local places for Chauffers, and race track drivers during the period before 1910
when he arrived in the USA. he worked as a Chauffer until about 1919 in New Jersey and Illinois.

He traveled back and forth 2 to three times possibly 1879, 3/31/1882, July, 1886 to USA,however his last child was born in 1890. So it might have been before after that year.

My GreatgrandMother was Margaeta Oldadiers, Olsdotter born 4/1825
My Great Grandfather was Andreas Pederson had 4 Children
Karolina,Anne, Nils and Ola.
They had left Denmark for Markaryd Sweden 1/8/1857 baptised and married
there. Ola's bother Nils sister Anne mother Margaeta and father Andreas
Pederson returned to Denmark 5/16/1884.
His Sister Karoline married Gustav Johansson had three children.

I believe they may have also moved back to Fredenborde, Denmark about
