Looking for any information on Uno G. Sandsjo and his family in Sweden....he came to the USA sometime before 1888.

When was he born? Who else did he travel with or who else might have come to the U.S.? Where did they live after emigrating?  
 
This man found on the Emihamn database of CD Emigranten (made from registrations in the Swedish parish to go to a foreign country) may be yours but he had already been to the U.S.

To find when yours came and where he came from in Sweden (He may not have used the name Sandsjö at the time since many Swedes used patronymic names to emigrate.), we need more details.

I see the birthdate in the subject line. I expected it to be in the body of the post. I don't see any Uno G. born July 1863 on the Emibas CD, which lists birthdates and was made from the registrations in the Swedish parish to go to a foreign country. (It is not complete.)

Thanks for all your help....Uno was my Great Great Grandfather......I did actually find that he came to the US in 1883....he lived in the New Jersey/Philadelphia area all his life...and married Millicent Michaels in 1888.....I have no information on his parents or siblings.

Uno Gabriel Sandsjö from Hjo was the son of Vicar Anders Nikolaus Sandsjö (1821, 11 July-1888, 28 aug, born in Varnhem according to the household roll, in Istrum according to the DIS genealogy exchange register) and Hilda Gustafva Jungmarker b 1822 in Otterstad. Uno was born 17 aug 1863 in Händene. He had 2 brothers Ernst Wilhelm and Arvid Emil. There may be information on his father in the herdaminne, a history of priests in the diocese.
