Hallå,
I would appriciate some help in researching my Swedish ancestors.
My Grandmother, Ingegärd Sjöström, was born in 1916 in Spånga.
Found the record here: GID 2735.46.36700 / Volume SCB / Roll CK6962 / Image 367 / Line #61
Her father was Axel Bernhard Sjöström.
Born 15/5/1888 in Växjö Stadsförsamling, Kronoberg
GID 100007.2.7800 / Roll SC-1193 / Volume :919 / Image 5 / Line #73
There is no father name for him, and there is an oäkta mention, which I understand means he
was born out of a legal marriage.
My grand mother told me the father was dead before the son was born (a kind of posthemous
child, however, I would not know wether true or if this is a story told children to make the
family acceptable).
There is a rather lentghy comment on the right of the line, but I do not understand it.
Neither do I understand why it has been crossed.
I would also like to know what follows the name of the mother (Sjöström, Karin Charlotta)
which I cannot make out.
Thank you very much in advance.
I can post images of records if needed.
