Krakewitz, Johan born 1659 Gaflo Vastergotland

I am looking for information on the children of Johan Krakewitz born 1659 in Gaflo. He married Emerentia Gyllensvard (born 1661 Gaflo) around early 1690's. Any help finding the names of the children and birth dates would be appreciated.

I think I can give you some help, but not very much.
 
Melchior Krakewitz (maybe he was called Johan too) married Emerentia Gyllenswärd on the 12th of July 1695 in Dannäs parish in Småland (not Västergötland). Gavle or Gavlö is situated in this parish. I think Emerentia was born here but not her husband.
 
On the 6th of May 1696 their first son Johan Abraham was christened i Gavle Dannäs.
 
My husbands ancestor Håkan living i Gavle was on of the sponsors (wittnesses).

The name should be von Krakewitz, probably from other parts of Europe. You can find members of the family in Mecklenburg for example.

This sounds like the correct family. Would there be any further information on the other children available? I am looking for a daughter to this family--Anna Catharina born sometime in later part of 1690's or so. Anna later married a Johan Lundgren. Any info or help on where to look would be appreciated.

I don?t think Anna Catharina was daughter of Melchior Krakewitz and Emerentia Gyllensvärd.
 
If you seek Krakewitz here (Anbytarforum) you can find that Christina Backman wrote in March 14   2004.....
Katharina Krakewitz married to Johan Lundgren was a daughter of Abraham von Krakewitz and Anna Bock.

Not that I know for sure but it is not unreasonable to suppose that two brothers or cousins may have given their daughters the same name. Note that one is Katharina and the other Anna Katharina.
