Eric Ohlund

My great grandfather Eric Frithoj Ohlund emmigrated to Nebraska from Sweden following his first wife's death.  It is possible that he was from Pitea lands, Sweden.  He was born 9-13-1861, first wife's name was (I believe) Ingrid Arlander. He was in Nebraska by 1888, as he married his second wife (my great grandmother) Marie Larsson on 3-30-1888 in Douglas, NB.

I don't see his emigration on CD Emigranten but here he is on the 1880 Swedish Census with his parents and siblings. You were slightly mistaken about his year of birth.

Is there any information on a marriage for Eric F. in perhaps 1885?  I believe he left Sweden for America in 1887.  It seems he was living with his brother-in-law as a widower when he met my ggrandmother.  Also is there info to verify the facts we have on my ggrandmother?  Marie Larson b. 11-9-1863 in Aby, Roalf, Farlof, Sweden.  Don't know if all of those are city, county or family names.  She is one of nine children, six boys & three girls.  Her parents were Truls Larsson, b. 1828/ d. 1893 & Sophia Dicksson, b.1827/d.1906.  All help is greatly appreciated.

Sofie Dickson had parents who came from Scotland.
I am trying to connect you with a reseacher, who appears to have more information. May add that Färlöv is a parish just outside city of Kristianstad, in Skåne county, southern Sweden.
I found more birth records in the data base, perhaps you can try yourself.I mentioned the URL earlier.

Minnesota), Nils Trulsson (b. 1853, Färlöv, d. 1928, Knislinge), Sigrid Larsson Swedburg (b. 1859, d. 1948 in USA), Christine Larsson Arlander (b. 1861, d. in USA), Marie Larsson Ohlund Flinta (b. 1863, Färlöv, d. 1932, Los Angeles, CA this is my GGGrandmother), Sven Sam Larsson (b. 1865, d. 1953 in USA), John Larsson (b. 1865 Roalöv, d. 1916 or 1926, Göteborg) & Louis Larsson (d. 1952 in USA).
I know that there are cousins, possibly descendents of Truls Larsson's brothers or sisters by the name of Olson . I would be interested to hear from any relatives, as I am not in contact with any descendants of this line further removed than 2nd cousins. Thank you,
