Im searching for Nils Gabriel Rosén born August 12th 1879 in Tveta, Stockholm County, Sweden. He left Sweden for North America and arrived in New York (Ellis Island) Aug 13th 1910! He maybe married a woman named Mary.

In the 1920 Census he is living on Madison Ave, Manhattan NY, NY. The information is the same as in the 1930 census except for the location of his home and that he is not married. He is listed as Physician, Medical. He rents an apartment.

Something is strange here, (date of birth - after she died), but this could be the Mary that married Nils Rosén. She is a retired nurse,widowed, and her husband's name was Nils. Her maiden name was Manson (Månson in Swedish?)

Thank you indeed for your kind and very interesting information.
I can tell you that the progenitor of Nils Rosén was Erik Rosenius, born 166(7), dead 1738, vicar of Sexdrega parish, Älvsborg County. Erik Rosenius was progenitor of four (4) swedish noble families: von Rosén, Rosén von Rosenstein, Rosenblad and Munck af Rosenschöld.
