I am searching for further whereabouts concerning this family:
Carl Magnus Gustafsson, b July 18, 1835 in Dalhem parish
Gustafva Charlotta Niclasd:r, b June 23, 1838 in Gamleby parish
 
Their sons:
Gustaf Albert, b May 8, 1858 in Gamleby
Carl Oskar Theodor, b December 17, 1861 in Dalhem
 
They left Olstorp farm in Dalhem, Sweden, according to the household exams, on April 6, 1864.  
 
Does anyone have further information on this family? Did they have anymore children after arriving in the U.S.? When did they all die? Help is greatly appreciated!

Accordng to New York Passenger Lists there is the following information about the Gustafson family. I think it could be the right one despite the difference in age/name of the children.
 
The bark Elbe from Hamburg.
August 15, 1864
Carl Gustafson, 28, male, farmer
Gustava --     25, fem   his wife
Carl    --      6  male  his child
Gustav  --      7 mths, male  baby
 
One the line beneath this family there is:
 
Sara Gustafsdotter, 23, female, unmarried
 
I have looked at the list once more and perhaps the names are so common that this is not the family. My broadband internet has gone haywire, so I cannot do anything more until I get it fixed.
