Axel H Shuholm

Looking for any information about Axel H Shuholm/ Sjöholm born in Arvika, Värmland on June 2,1893 who emigrated with his brother Rickard to North America and arrived with Drottningholm in New York on January 9, 1923. Their first known adress is with their friend Gottfrid Magnusson at 287 Halsted St East Orange NJ. Rickard returned to Sweden 1935 but Axel stayed and in 1942 he was registered in the old mans draft for WW2 as automobile mechanic with residence at 319 26th ST NY,NY.

There is no Axel H. born that date in Arvika but a few months later, 4 Sept 1893, an Axel Hilding, illegitimate child of Karolina Wettergren is born. Could he be the one? If so I have more information, for one there seem to have been a much earlier emigration.

According to Swedish census 1900 are they both born in Gräsmark, Värmland to Johan Magnusson Sjöholm and his wife Matilda Magnussdotter.

many thanks for your inputs, this is interesting information. I was actually hoping to be able to find information to trace Axel between 1922 and 1942 as well as after 1942 including death date and place. I have been unable to find anything in US census 1930 and US death records. His family has always believed he was killed (murdered) so if you have hints how I should find information that might verify it would be helpful.
