Olof Israelsson, Tilda Ericksdotter

I am looking for information to confirm my possible direct line relationship to Olof Israelsson and Tilda Ericksdotter. I show Olof born in 1868, Degerfors, Sweden, and Tilda Ericksdotter, born in 1866/1867. Olof and Tilda had two sons, Olof born in 1890, and Nils born in 1892. If these are the right people then this Nils was my grandfather who emigrated from Sweden to the U.S. in 1911. Nils was born 14 Jan 1892. If Olof is indeed my great grandfather, I have his pedigree back four generations where it ends. I have no pedigree for Tilda. I would appreciate any information that would verify and/or add to what I currently show.

Census immigration years are not necessarily provided by the person involved. The information could have been given by another family member, including a child, and sometimes the enumerators didn't find the family at home and asked neighbors for their input. This family fits your information except that there is a huge difference between 1892 and 1911 for the year they left Sweden. Perhaps they confused a year of naturalization with the year of entering the country.
