I will be in sweden 8/17/02 and would like to visit the area my grandparents came from.                               Lars John Gustafson came to the USA in
1891 with his wife Emma(29)and children.  Johan(9),Hilda(7),Ester(4),Maria(infant).  I do not think these where his children. Emma died and he married Sofia Gustafson(my grandmother) in 1898.L.J was born in 1867 (mother-lovita larsdotter) Sofia was born 1876?,mother-Maria Anderson,father A.Gustafson.

The following 8 people left Göteborg, Sweden 19th june 1891.

Thank you for your help.  I found out that my grandfather Lars John Gustafsson was born in the Stenum parish and lived in Storaboda in Haryda. This is near the city of Skara. Arne Strang (former chief librarian of Skaraborg county) has been kind enough to find this out for me.  I will be going there next week and looking forward to visiting Sweden. Dorothea

Claes Gustafsson was born 1840 Sep.29. in Börstig parish, Västergötland. His wife, Emma Christina Johansdotter was born 1855 May.28. in Kölaby parish. Their children were:

I would very much like to find out WHEN and WHERE Claes Gustafsson died. Do you have this information. How was he related to Lars Johan?
