Anderson, August *1860 Sweden. Emigr 1887

Looking for information on August Anderson.  Born 1860 in Sweden. Emigrated in 1887 to the US.  Married Christina Jonsson born July 13 1860.  Married in 1890.  Had two sons, Thor and Ragnar.  Lived in Fairfield, CT. Any information would be appreciated.

There are 11 men registered in the Emigrant register (Emibas) called August Andersson born in 1860 who emigrated in 1887 (and the register is only about 75 % complete). So more information is needed; exact dob, any other names beside August (like Sven, Carl etc), siblings, parents' names, location in Sweden - anything and as much of it as possible.
 
In the same register there's only one woman called Christina born 13 Jul 1860 - and she's called Jonsson! So maybe...

But I get this from the records made by the Kalmar port police:
Last name: Jonsson
First name: Kristina
Age: 27
Born: 1859/1860
Parish: Arby
Departure port: Kalmar
Date of departure: 21 Sep 1887 [this usually differs from the date the emigrant received his/her moving certificate, cf. above]
Destination: Springfield, IL
Fellow travellers: No [hers was the only name on this ticket]

The problem is of course the destination - she went to IL but later lived in CT, but then of course many eventually wound up in places far from their original destination.
 
Anyway, here she is in the 1880 census:
Father: Jonsson, Carl b. 1827 in Mortorp parish, Kalmar county
Mother: Håkansdotter, Kristina b. 1826 in Mortorp parish, Kalmar county
Child: Selma Maria b. 1857 in Arby parish, Kalmar county
Child: Hilda Kristina b. 1860 in Arby parish, Kalmar county
Child: Janne Gottfrid b. 1863 in Arby parish, Kalmar county
The family lives at the farm Skällby N:o 1 in Arby parish. The father is noted as farm owner.
 
(Hilda) Kristina was of course really Carlsdotter but had evidently adopted the new-fangled idea of using her father's name (this was frequently done by emigrants to America since the patronymic system wasn't understood in America).

The only other info I have is that August was born in Feb 1960. I have info on Christina. It looks like the first one you saw on the same register could be her.  I will try to find more info on August. Thanks

I found a birthdate of Feb 21 1861.  Not sure if this is the correct August Andersson.  Mine was born in Kalmar
