Grahl, Augustus

My ancestor Augustus Grahl was born ca. 1786 in Sweden.  His parents may have arrived in Sweden from Germany shortly before he was born.  He married in 1817 in Washington County, Tennessee, USA, to Christina Snapp.  They lived in Tennessee and North Carolina.  I am searching for any information on him, his parents, and when he/they left Sweden for America.

What evidence do you have for Augustus Grahl´s birthplace? and where in Sweden was it?

USA census records record that my Grahl ancestor's father, Augustus Grahl, was born in Sweden.  This is very consistent with all of his children.  Augustus Grahl married the granddaughter of a German emigrant.  One related family history tells of Augustus Grahl being born in Sweden shortly after his parents arrived there from Germany, perhaps in Stockholm.  I am just beginning to trace this line and have very little information.  I do know he married in 1817 in Washington County, Tennessee, and lived in Greene County, Tennessee, and also in Haywood County, North Carolina.

There is a Grahl family in Sweden in the 1700s, I just saw one in an ancestral file. They seemed to live around Kalmar. There are around 100 entries in Disbyt (ancestry exchange)

Chris, that is exciting information, and I will follow up on it.  Is the Ancestral file online, and, if so, how might I get to see it?  How do I access this ancestry exchange?
 
Bo, thank you for the link to Rootweb.  I am sure that is my Augustus Grahl.  I have his marriage record to Christina Snapp, and the two daughters listed in the Rootsweb family tree are correct.  The tree omits several other children, including my great-great-great grandfather Franklin Grahl.
