I am serching on my mothers behalf.
She is Born Karin Linnea Sikström.
Her father,Carl Johan had 11 sisters and brothers,and 2 of his sisters emigrated to the US.
His sisters was:  Elin.Olga.Karin.Jenny.
    and brothers:Carl johan,Knut                            Adolf.Sven.Johan, all born Sikström
The one I am looking for now is Elin Lovisa Sikström,probably born 1894.
Died in Hennepin County 1983.
She married a Mossberg.I have found Elin in the archives of Ellis Island and I have found out that she became a US citizen.

Elin Lovisa Sikström was born in Färnebo, Värmland county, on 16 September 1893. according to Rotemansarkivet, Stockholm.

Appears from that source she moved in from Färnebo to Stockholm in 1908, worked as servant for a couple of families, left for Södertälje parish in 1917 and emigrated in 1919 (Ellis Island) - stating she then resided in Stockholm. However, Södertälje is not far from Stockholm.  
I went to birth record of Färnebo, 1893, Sept. 16:
father Jan Peter Sikström, mother Lovisa Ottiliana Nord.
They resided at Persberg, Färnebo.
 
I looked them up in Census 1900:

Suggest you use the information from Minnesota Death Certificates Index. (below) and put a quiry to the Hennepin message board with Rootsweb - it´s free of charge- you have to register though - and ask for an obit from a local newspaper.
