I am seeking information of the immgration of Anders Albert Olson WHO was born on 18 February 1886 in Stugun, Jamtland. He emmigrated to Canada abt 1904.I do beleieve he went through England (Liverpool) and arrived in Canada.
He is a brother to my Grandmother Emma Kristine Olssdotter WHO was born 1 September, 1878 in Alby.

This is when the migration certificate was issued in Stugun parish. It could be the very day Anders Albert left his home but it could also have been issued days, weeks - even months - before he actually left.

I've looked in Emigranten Populär - which lists people actually leaving Sweden, since it was compiled by the port police - but can't find him there. This index isn't complete but I didn't expect to find him there anyway: a jämte (person from Jämtland) is much, much more likely to leave by way of Trondheim in Norway.

Thank You so much for the information. This clears up the dates I begged for his emigration.I begged his immgration as the 13 September 1904, But now I see it Is that date the certificate was issued.

At  http://www.norwayheritage.com/p_route.asp?ro=T52
you will find the S/S Tasso(2), the second such named ship of the Wilson Line which operated feeder ships from Scandinavia to Hull, England and other British ports at different times, on the North Sea side. Then, there was a train ride, usually to Liverpool, to board, in this case, a Cunard liner to Canada or the USA.
