Help with translation from court doc

Attached is an image from the 1799 Judgement Book.  Can anyone translate the hi-lighted words?
Gertrud Torkelsdotter was charged with having intercourse out of wedlock.

I think it says "företrädda as anmälde" which translates to "maintained as reported" in English.  That doesn't make any sense in English.
Do I have the correct translation into Swedish and then into English?

Represent and announce, or something like that. She was opening her case at court.


Does it make sense in a legal context?

I was expecting that it would be something like she "confessed" or "admitted" to the crime. But as you suggest the legal wording may sound a little strange.

There are judges who to this very day would use a word like "företrädde" when somebody appears in person before them. But all it means is that she "stated in front of the court".

The other two words after that are "as anmälde", was I correct in that translation?

I read "företrädde och anmälde" which translates as "appeared (in person) and stated (said).."
