I am trying to find out information on my great grandmother. What I do know is that I am told she was born about 1855 in Kall Jamtlands lan. She married Per Victor Alenius born in 1849 in alsen Jamtlands lan. I am searching to see who her parents were. I know she and Per victor were married in Alsen. They both came to America along with his brother. My search seems endless so can anyone assist me. Her name was Anna Marta Spjuth.

Anna Marta moved from Kall (according to notes in Hfl for Morsil) to Bye in Morsil 1876, where she worked as a maid, and from Morsil to Alsen 1877. She married Alenius in Alsen 1880 6/1 and they had their first baby Anna Christina in 1879 31/10 in Kjosta Alsen (before marriage). I have no records about her from Kall, but I?m certain you soon will get some.

I can?t find any Anna Marta born in Kall in 1855, but when she is getting married with Per Victor in Alsen, Jan 6th 1880, it says that she has the written approval of her father Ole Hansen Spjuth, Trondhjem.
It seems that her roots are in Norway.
 
Anna Marta and her family left Alsen for America Sep 22nd 1882.

When the couple marries, the record says that the bride?s father Ole Hansen Spjuth in Throndhjem has given his permission (source: Alsen EI:1 p. 39).

Thanks::: Are there any birth dates on Anna Marta or her father Ole Hansen Spjuth ? I was told that Ole was born in Sweden and his wife was maybe from Norway and when she died he went to Norway. The only thing I have is maybe his mother was Stina Olfsdotter born 5/26/1788 and no father in Sweden. I have searched in Norway and was told that their roots were Sweden. I have a long line of relatives in Sweden and know none of them. I have always wanted to know if there was a book or Cd on the Alenius's as I have never seen a picture of any of them. Thanks

According to Digitalarkivet, Norway in 1875 there is a Ole Spjud, born 1820 in Huså, Kall, Jemtland, Sweden living as a farm worker in Askrobakken 4, Trondheim, Norway. There is also his wife Margrethe Spjud born 1823 in Trondheim. There is no children here then. In 1865 and in 1900 there is no Spjud or similar name in Trondheim, which can mean that Ole moved to Trondheim after 1865 but before 1875 and that he probably is dead in 1900.
This means that it would be possible to find Ole (Olof) born about 1820 in Huså, Kall. If his mother was Stina Olofsdotter, 1788, that will be even easier. Unfortunately I don?t have access to Hfl for Kall, but someone else for sure has.

Olof Hansson Spjut (a twin) was born out of wedlock 1/14/1820 at Huså, parish of Kall. His mother was according to the church book, Stina Olofsdotter, aged 32. No father is mentioned.

Thank you for all of your help. I have researched the American Homepage plus the Alenius pages here. I have never been able to find out anything about the birth date of Anna Marta Spjuth my great grand mother. It only says about 1855 in all websites. Thank you
