This card is quite difficult to read ever for a person fluent in Swedish, but I think it reads:
Tjära alma vi har fått ditt bref och paket du säger du kommer hem i dänna vecka du må ej figa för allting är bra här hem vi har varit till tildas idag di hafde båda däras barn kresnade vi var endast där och så misten dätt var alt Pågen heter benjemen Otto
It is probably written of someone from Skåne south Sweden and I donot understand the word figa but I guess it means fear or be worried. Translated to a more well spelled Swedish the text would be:
Kära Alma. Vi har fått ditt btrev och paket. Du säger att du kommer hem i denna vecka. Du må ej figa för allting är bra. Vi har varit till Tildas idag. De hade båda deras barn kristnade. Vi var endast där och såg minsten. Det var allt. Pågen heter Benjamin Otto.
in English this would be:
Dear Alma, we have received your letter and parcel. You say you will come home this week. You donot have to worry cause everything is well. We visited Tilda's (=Tilda and her family) today. They have had both there children Christianized. We were only there and saw the small one (?). It was all. The boy's name is Benjamin Otto.
There is no post office in California with a name beginning with Solet.. but there is an office named Soledad in Monterey county. If you mail an image of the postmark I most probably can identify the place.
