    Hi! I was wondering if anyone had information about John A. Gartman. According to the 1900 United States census he was born in Sweden in May, 1867 and immigration to America in 1887.I haven't been able to find a birth parish or any of his relatives besides his wife Anna Hogfelt whom he married in America.     Does anyone have information about a rote called Sanna Ågor in Edsberg, Örebro? In Rosenburg's geographical dictionary Sanna is listed as a "Farm in Edsbergs sn near Svartån. 1 mtl, tax. 38,700 kr. Courthouse, pharmacy and inn and marketplace". Thank you--Heidi and Arabel

    I need some help with the translation of a death record. I cannot tell what the cause for death is for Karolina Persdottor or the words after her husband Karl Fagersten's name. She is number 4 on the list. Thanks-- Heidi and Arabel

    Thank you so much for the information! It is very helpful. I have done some research on Svar before, but was only able to find the possible birth record for Oscar. I would appreciate any tips you have.
    Oscar's birthday was listed as March 19th, 1862 in Jönköping in his funeral notice and the Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church record also listed his parents as Johan and Lisa (maybe Kathrina was her middle name) Adamson as his parents, so I am pretty sure I found the right birth record, but if you come across an Oscar with the same birthday in Jönköping I would be interested in hearing about it.

   I was wondering if anyone had information about Oscar/Oskar Alfred Johnson/Johansson born March 19th, 1862 in Jönköping. I think I found his birth record from Habo which listed his parents as Johan Adamson and Kathrina Lindelof. Thank you--Heidi
