Can someone translate the details of Simon Jacobsson's death record from 28 Jan 1713? There is a lot of details there some of which I have seen in various trees. Thanks.

Back in 2015 I obtained some basic information on Johan and with access to AD now, I would like to find him in the military records but need help on where to look.


Background: He is mentioned in the birth of his daughter Sara Stina as Corporal Voltenveber on 7 Feb 1782 in Norra Vi. The records says the parents are from Karlskrona. Corporal John Vulsräder is the father of Sara Stina Johansdotter in 1806 at her wedding in Västra-Eneby. There is a cryptic note on Geni.com "Voltenveber kommer från någon plats i Belgien som inte ännu kunnat utredas Korpral Voltenveber tjänstgjorde vid flottan i Karlskrona och var stamanställd källa"


Since he is a Corporal, I would expect him to be in the land forces but all that I see in Karlskrona are naval forces. And, they do not have Corporals.


Any ideas on which documents I should search?

Swedish language / Help with note on Marriage in Household Records

In Hägerstad (E) AI:11 (1851-1855) Image 130 / page 239 (AID: v26027.b130.s239, NAD: SE/VALA/00151) my 2nd great-grandmother came back home after being in North America for a couple of years.  It says she was married 9 Aug 1849 and returned in 1851.  There are notes that indicate she is a widow and I can see the word Cholera in there but can't read the rest of the note.  Can someone help translate?  I am hoping for a clue as to where she was in America but we will see.  Thanks.

It appears that the books were reorganized between these years.  My 4th great aunt Maria Wibom (listed by second husband's last name of Kinnander) born 5 Jan 1803 is shown on line 1 of: Linköpings domkyrkoförsamling (E) AI:68 (1876-1880) Image 145 (AID: v25724.b145, NAD: SE/VALA/00222). She is listed at No. 37.  I can't trace her to the next book as the organization has changed.  Can someone help me?  I am trying to find when and where she died as well as learning how to make the leap between these books.

Also, an Aurora Carolina Elisabeth Dahlgren, born 13 Jun 1851 is listed below her with some notation in front of her name.  What does it say/mean?  It is a bit clearer in Linköpings domkyrkoförsamling (E) AI:64 (1871-1875) Image 154 (AID: v25643.b154, NAD: SE/VALA/00222).  Can you also tell where she was born? Where did she arrive from?  While Aurora may not be my ancestor, it may help me explain a DNA match that currently does not make sense as Dahlgren is in common with both.

Mjällby / Elsa Jönsdotter

My 3rd great aunt, Elsa Jönsdotter, was born 15 Nov 1846 in Hosaby, Mjällby to Jöns Svensson (20 Feb 1814 to 13 Apr 1888) and Malena Jönsdotter.  On 4 May 1869 she departed the parish for America.  I am pretty certain that she left Göteborg on 28 May 1869 for Hull, England.  Per this record she was going to Chicago.  In 1870, I find an Elsie Johnson in Union Grove, Whiteside County, Illinois age 22 (implying she was born in 1848). In 1872, she married John Rhymers (Jöns Reimer from Hästveda, Skåne). They are still in Union Grove in the 1880 census and Elsie is listed as Elsa Rhymers.  In that same year, my great-grandfather (Elsa Jönsdotter's aunt) arrived in America.  The first location I have for him is in 1887 when he is married in a town 20 KM from Union Grove.  In 1883, she moves with her family to Minnesota.  I want to confirm that Elsa and Elsie/Elsa are the same person via some written record.  I have seen before where the father's papers available upon his death indicate something about their children and where they are.  How is this found?  Can someone find the papers for Jöns Svensson and see if it says that she is in Minnesota and married to John Rhymers?  Thanks.

[/size]By the way, I also believe this is true as it would explain my DNA relationship to one of Elsa's descendants.

The birth record for Brita Catharina Jonsdotter on the top of the left page shows her in Nybygget but I do not find any place by that name in the index to Vårdnäs AI:6. In BI:1/Image 27 she is leaving from the same location.  Where would I find her and her family?  Thanks.

Since it says not to enter names of individual names, I have not mentioned them below but it is obvious on the archive page.
 
The person on the top of this page in ArkivDigital online has several notations that I cannot understand.  
Just below Frossvik the words frälse säteri appear which Google translates as nobility manor.  Does this mean he lived in a manor or what?  
There is another line below that it looks like förre frälse befallnings which translates to former tenant's command, which makes no sense to me.  
Before his first son is the phrase nuvarande befallningsman, which translates to current sheriff.  Is this correct?  What does this imply?
 
I do not know if this is the correct place to post this, but as I do not know Swedish, I picked what I thought was a reasonable place in the English discussion section.  Feel free to move it where it belongs.  Thank you for your help.

Efterlysningar USA-emigranter (Queries) N - Q / Olson, Peter b1835 Sweden. Emigr approx 1864

I am trying to trace Peter and his family back to Sweden.  Peter's granddaughter was my grandmother.  I have already found my grandfather in Sweden as someone had previously found him.  I have used ArkivDigital and this forum to trace him and his family back to the mid-1700's.  Here is everything I know about this family.
 
Per the US 1870, 1880, and 1900 census (the US 1890 census was destroyed by fire) a family with the following individuals immigrated to the USA in 1864 (maybe 1865), probably all together.  The only names I have are the ones they used in the USA. They were in Chicago Illinois in 1870 and Rock Island County, Illinois and nearby areas after that.
 
The family name is sometimes Olson, and other times Oleson or Olsen.  Peter and Ellen said they were married in 1860.  In some cases I have a birth month as it was collected in the 1900 census (Peter died by then and I am unsure of what happened to Anna-still working on her). Nels has an exact date from his death notice. As usual with dates, be careful as people sometimes changed dates for various reasons.  The years are more likely accurate within 1 year (as the US census asks only for age).

Ellen Olson   March 1831    wife
Nels N      27 May 1862    son
Anna or Annie   1863       daughter
Olaf or Olof   May 1864    son (he is my direct ancestor)
(they had several more children after coming to North America)
 
I have tried to find them on ships.  I have tried to find their births in Sweden using Ancestry.com but without knowing the Swedish surname and exact birthdates, that is almost impossible.  Any suggestions on how to proceed would we helpful.  Thank you.

Fann i Blekingeförsamlingens dataregister för attester att Thomas Bond skulle flyttat från Östra Vemmerlöv till Mörrum, Ellesholm 1815. Det står att det skall vara H11:4 bild 197/svar. Jag har Arkivdigital och har letat där för åren men finner inte attesten. Kan någon hjälpa mig var den är. Har letat i Asarum.
