Please help with reading the birth record for #53 in Västerås Domkyrkoförsamling (U) C:15b (1880-1886) Image 46 / Page 237 (AID: v74787.b46.s237, NAD: SE/ULA/11727). A .pdf of the page is attached. Thank you for that observation! That may explain why Eric is not listed with her in Vasteras prior to 1871. Am I correct to understand that a minor child could not be recorded as moving out without an accompanying adult? This could explain his" disappearance". Thanks again!

My gg-gf Eric Gustaf Bergström (b 6-23-1856 -Hedvig Eleonora ) is listed in Hedvig Elenora moving out record,[size=0pt] Hedvig Eleonora (A, AB) BIIa:13 (1870-1875) Image 24 (AID: v85549.b24, NAD: SE/SSA/0006), Entry #73. I do not understand the entry in the column after his name. It looks like “Conf’d” 1871. There is no local address information provided. My goal is to find out where and with whom he was living with between 1871 and 1861. His age is between 5 and 15. He is not in the household of his mother Pauline Ulrica Nordstrom ([/size][size=0pt]1834-03-20 (Västerås domkyrkoförs) who is divorced and is [/size]seamstress and remarries to a Lars Erik Lundin in 1865.
Any help with this puzzle would be greatly appreciated. Attached is a .pdf of the entry. Thanks!

Thank you so much, Maude. Your information was very helpful. I will look elsewhere for Pauline Ulrica's childeren Sophia Cecilia Evelina b. 1854 and Erik Gustaf Adolf b. 1856. Erik Gustaf Bergstrom is my gg-f. He reappears in the mantalregester (Klara) in 1874. There is a possibility he went to Vasteras to live with a grandmother.

Hello,
I'm searching for a 1862 Adolf Fredrik household record in for my gg-gm Pauline (nee) Nordström or Bergström (divorced). She gave birth to a son out of wedlock 1862-04-20 to Karl Arthur Ansh. Napoleon. See #70 Adolf Fredrik (A, AB) CIb:4 (1858-1869) Image 221 (AID: v81708.b221, NAD: SE/SSA/0001). I need help in reading the name of the reference address. I can't match it to any of the place names in searching the Adolph Fredrik records. My purpose is to find who else is in the household with her, particularly other children. Thanks for helping me with this!

Thank you so much for that research. The date matches that on the marriage record when she Pauline marries Lars Erik Lundin in 1865. Interestingly, she leaves him (Hedvig El.)in 1879 and with her grown children on 9 August 1879 emmigrates (Malmo) to America. The strange part is that the she and her children show up in a moving-out record for Nikloi dated 10-16-1879. She is in NY! How could this happen? Much drama in this family!.

I thought Frånskiljd means separated and Frånskild means divorced. ( I got that from Google translate so correct me if that is wrong). Also what would be grounds for separation/divorce in that time? I know that she doesn't remarry until her 'ex' has died.

My gg-gm was Paulina Ulrika Norstrom Bergstrom (later Lundin). I want to find where she is located in Adolf Fred and Maria in 1857 and 1858. She has two small children (Erik Gustaf (my g gf) and Sophia Evelina). I think she has left her husband Gustaf August Bergstrom in Hedvig Elenora. I cannot locate her movements in the the moving in/out records, but I have the mantalsregister listed below, so I know she did leave.
1858 Adolf Fredrik 882 Bergström Paulina Ulrika Skrädd ges hustru
1859 Maria södra 542 Bergström Paulina Ulr Frånskiljd hustru
In 1859 she returns Hedvig Elenora but not to her husband.

Hej,
Looking for parish location(s) of my gg gm Paulina Ulrica Norstrom (b Vasteras 1854, m E.A Bergstrom 1850 and m ?? Lundin 1860). She left Sweden with her sons in 1879 for NYC and died there in 1888. My last record of her in Stockholm is from 1859 mantalsregister:
1859 Ladugårdsland nedre 360 Bergström E A Skrädd gesäll
1859 Maria södra 542 Bergström Paulina Ulr Frånskiljd hustru (separated wife)
In 1860 or 1861 she married a Lundin (parish?) and had a son Carl Arthur(1862 parish?) and John(1869 -parish). Any help with locating her between 1859 and 1879 would be greatly apppreciated.

Thank you all so much for your help and comments. I am visiting Stockholm and would be pleased to be ableto visit the burial grounds of these ancestors. I understand the kyrka at Skeppsholm has been decomissioned so I am wondering what became of the burial gorunds. Also, would the Skeppsholms kyrkoarkivDöd- och begravningsböcker refrence indicate the location of burials? Are the book images online?

I am looking for the burial location of this husband and wife, (my gggrandfather and grandmother). Perhaps they are on the CD Begravda I Sverige? Their last known residences were within Stockholm, but I could not find them in a search of hittagraven.stockholm.se/
