I'm hoping someone can help with some research I'm doing on my great-great grandmother.
My great-great grandmother was named Emelia Eliasdotter (although in some of the parish records she's referred to as Emelia Dahlstrom), born March 1, 1847 in Gundlabo Nedre in Dalstorp, Älvsborg lan.
She left her home in July of 1863 or 1864 (GID#1253.24.35400) for Toarp, also in Älvsborg lan. She returned home in Nov. 1868 and then moved to Gölinstorp Nov. 10, 1869. She had an illegitimate daughter (Anna Josefina) there on Aug 3, 1870. According to GID#698.15.54400, she left for Äsarp in what I think was October 1872. I've looked through the parish records available on Genline for both Norra Äsarp and Södra Äsarp but can't find any trace of her until she reappears in Stenkyrka in Gotland lan (GID# 2530.3.6600). The Household Examination says she came from Dalstorp in 1875. I'm assuming she came to Stenkyrka from her parents' home in Dalstorp, but there's nothing on the parish record (GID# 594.25.10700) that says she was there.
Are there other places in Sweden called Asarp where she could have gone? Or is there another way besides the parish records to figure out where she could have been from 1872 - 1875?
Thanks for any help!
