Can anyone tell me what the abbreviations Sund. Mr. before a man's name mean?  The man is listed on the same page of the HFL as the pastors, so I wonder if he is an assistant or a musician or something?  In case you want to have a look at this, it is in LDS film 0149838, section 3 (Ramsberg [T] 1699-1704), page 7, bottom of the page, before a name that looks like Anthon Bengtsson.  He was only there for two years during which his wife died and his two daughters moved off to their lives.  I can't find him after that, although I can trace his daughter Catharina, my gggggg g'mother.  An Anna Anthonsdotter shows up from Fellingsbro on p.89 with her husband, so I will use that as a clue and look there, but if his title is something from the church, that may be another clue.  (I also found an Anthonsson who had a son Bängt 1697-01-09.)

I have not read the church film, but I wunder if it not will be: Smed Mr.
 
Smed = black smith and Mr = master (master in his profession). It can be difficult to read the letters and to find out which letter it shall be.

I am CERTAIN of the Mr. since it is very clear.  However, the first letters are not that clear and could be something else.  On 8/6 I will copy that page, scan it and add it to my web site.  Perhaps if some of you SEE it, it will ring a bell.

Anthon is a Master smith.
