I've not be able to get past my ancestor Caisa Nilsdotter (GID 992.10.97800) f. 29 Sep 1782 in  Åmål, Älvsborgs län.  I've not been able to find her birth record and without her father's name it's hard to use the household exams in that parish.  Any ideas?

I have been following Caisa Nilsdotter backwords in the housholdexaminations roll and in Laxarby Dalsland the year 1811-1815 page 15 can you see that she was born 29 of september 1782 in Huggenäs is a place in the landscape, province Värmland.

Thank you so much Ulla!  I see that too, but when I go to Huggenäs birth records I cannot find her there!  Also on that same page I see a child Maria Andersdotter, f. 1806, whom I didn't know about.  Is that her in GID 1964.3.44700?

I have been looking for Cajsa Nilsdotter and she is not so easy to be found.
Her daugheter Maria was born  in Skällebyn in 1806.
This is Åmåls landsförsamling year 1804-1810 page 40. There it said that Cajsa should have been born in Knyttkärr (Knöttkärr) Åmåls landsförsamling in the 29 of September 1782 i loocked in the birt record no Cajsa was found.
And no Cajsa in the housholdexaminations roll for that year, that record starts in 1784.
 
Cajsa moves to Laxarby Skröva in 1809. I shall look for Cajsa later on.

I have found out this Cajsas, husband Anders Segolson died in 13 of July 1854 in Berg Laxarby. Cajsa died 23 of december 1872 in Flatebyn Laxarby. I followed her in the housholdexaminationsrolls from 1851 to 1872 and they all said that she was born in Åmål 29 of September in 1782.

There was no father namned to little Maria she was listed as illegitimate daughter to Cajsa Nilsdotter.
About Cajsa Nilsdotter I could not read all of it but it said that she died and was burried in Töftedals församling (in Dalsland)
