Jäder parish

[Nancy Jaderen]

I have recently found out there is a Jäder parish outside of Eskilstuna.I have been trying to trace the origin of the name Jäder?n.My father-in -law was born in Eskilstuna,so it may have begun there.Does anyone know the history of that particular parish?

I found two persons with the last name Jäder?n at the Emigrant CD
Kristina E Jäder?n 42 years old and widow, she left from the parish Fors, Södermanlands län (Eskilstuna is located there)
Helga e Jäder?n 9 years old
They both left from the port of Malmö in 4 of November 1909 with the sourcecode 1909:3294:9917 to New York.

They were going to her father in law P Lindahl 329 41 Str Brooklyn New York,

The origin of your family name may well be Jäder parish, some 8 miles NE of Eskilstuna. The farmer Erik Jäder?n died in Hässelby, Jäder in 1878. He may have been a relative. An unmarried woman, Dagmar Sofia Jäder?n, born in Eskilstuna 1882, died in Eskilstuna as lata as 1973.
 
To-day, there are four families in the Swedish phone book by this name, none of them in the immediate vicinity of Jäder.
 
Jäder parish is ancient farmland, inhabited and cultivated since it rose out of the sea a few thousand years back. The oldest record of the name Jäder for this parish is from 1314.
