This is the place of death listed in family records for my 5th great grand father.  Can someone help me locate it? I understand roughly where Väckelsång parish, Kronebergs län, Småland is, but I'm not sure what Linnersmåla Norregård refers to...

Linnersmåla is a little village a half mile south Väckelsång, se the map below. What is the name of the family?

And Norregård refers to the actual farm in this tiny little village.
Norregård simply means northern farm, so it was probably the northernmost farm in the village of Linnersmåla.

Thank you Sam & Ingela.  The map, pictures and translations are all wonderful. I am planning a trip in May and am looking forward to visiting this area as well as some others - (Brunstarp and Bredagorden, Skogsryd , Edshult parish, Jonkoping lan).  
Here is all the information I have on the  Väckelsång parish line of the family:  
Sven Svensson, b. 09 Jan 1725/26, d. 21 Aug 1787, Linnersmåla Norregård
  married: Martha Håkansdotter b. 07 Nov 1730, Väckelsång parish, Kronebergs län. d. 15 May 1795, Linnersmåla Norregård, Väckelsång parish.
They had the following children:
1. Gertrud Svensdotter b. 06 Dec 1763
2. Carin Svensdotter   b. 06 Dec 1763 (twins!!)  
3. Håkan Svensson, b. 15 Sep 1766, Väckelsång parish, Kronebergs län, Småland, d. 23 Apr 1840, Väckelsång parish.  A farmer,he lived on the following farms in Tävelsås parish:
 
a).  SANDVIK
 
b).  STROMMEM
c).  T?AVELSS  (possibly Tävelsås this spelling didn't translate fonts very well from my source file, I'm not sure if it will be clear to anyone, but I include it with high hopes!!)
d).  GATUGRD

5. Maria Svensdotter b. 06 May 1771, Väckelsång parish
 
MAGNUS HåKANSON, son of HåKAN SVENSSON, was born December 10, 1810 at Tingsås in the parish of Tävelsås, Kronebergs län, Småland, Sweden, married BRITTA OLAFSDAUGHTER. born June 26, 1813 in the parish of Tävelsås.  They and their children, born in Tävelsås Parish:
SOLOMON             3/20/1838    died:7/21/1912  at  Scandia, Minnesota
JOHN                    1/26/1840          11/21/1928       Marine,  Minnesota
INGRID KATRINA   9/10/1842            9/22/1905      (Scandia, Minnesota?)
GUSTAF                8/28/1844             10/10/09       Houlton, Wisconsin  
CARL PETER         3/6/1848               9/1/1927      Stillwater, Minnesota
 
This family emigrated to the USA in 1854, arriving in Scandia, Minnesota in the fall of the year.
 
Any additional information about the family or area would be greatly appreciated.

Sam, Thank you so much.  I just ordered the dvd based on your  forum post.  I tried to translate the text from the picture, but many of the words wouldn't translate.  Maybe because they are abbreviations?  Can anyone give me a translation?

Linnersmåla Norregård, Postal address: Kvarnamåla.
Area: totally 50 hektar = 123,6 acres - 8 of them are cultivated fields, and 40 of them forest.
(1 hektar is appr. 2,5 acres)
 
Earth deposit: Black soil
Forest stand: Conifer and deciduous
Dwellling house built in 1927. Farm building built in 1924.
1 horse, 8 kows, 2 young stock, 5 pigs, 20 chicken. The farm to the family 1900.
Owner: Sven Svensson born 1901, son to Karl Svensson and his wife Anna. Married 1931 to Hillevi, maiden name Johansson.

I thought that Swedish dvds didn't work in the U.S. since each country uses a different format. (I suppose the dvds could be converted for a fee, if there is a shop willing to do the conversion, just as with videotapes.)
