Eriksberg - Does anyone know whether this
estate (I think somewhere in Norrkoping,
S:t.Johannes parish in 1882) still exists
today? It was probably the name of an estate
(of land).

Hej Avril
Bad english, bad spelling and not very good news.
The Eriksberg estate does not exist any longer. I found it on a map from 1868 at Norrkoping library.
It was situated in the sw corner of S:t Johannes parish, right to the south of Norrk. centrum, about 3 km.
Croft is more what I think it was, there were many of them in the area, mostly not very well built.
Today it is on the border of the expanding town and countryside. A nice area with one-family houses, Kaettsaetter, and Norrk. watertower, looking like a gigant spider on high legs or an ufo.

Worker Anders Magnus Bostrom b.1812, d.1882 on site.
Second wife Mathilda Holmgren b.1822, d.1886 on site.
Married 1864, I guess you already had that.
The road passing by leads to V.Husby were Bostrom was born.
Best Wishes
Åke
