Conny, Mikael, you both are a great help. Yes, these are the same Anders Fridolf. The information I have on him:
Anders Fridolf Pettersson, born 1866-11-20 in L Flarka, Horn. Arrendator (Tennant Farmer) in Lilla Flarka, Horn. (f,v). Till sid 1521890. Var Kusk (coachman, driver) i Hagaborg u St Hycklinge 1892. Hemmaigen 1893, till ?shorva 1894.Familjen flyttar till L Flarka 1898 8/11. Efternamnent ?drat frn Alexandersson till Petersson ca 1894. Heter Alexandersson i vigselboken 1895. (the last name changed fromAlexandersson to Pettersson about 1894. Called Alexandersson in themarriage book 1895) Married 1895-06-01 in Horn to Johanna Charlotta Johansdotter, born 1859-04-04 in Greby, Horn. Smmerska (seamstress) in Horn. (f,v). Lyst, till ?shorfva 1895.
Also, a distant family member who had a little information on him: ...Fridolf Pettersson bought a gravel-pit and had a jobmasters in Linköping... (I do not know what a jobmasters is). ...He was married and had two sons: Sigurd Pettersson married Stina, no children; and Karl Pettersson, married Agnes, two children: Åke and Ingegerd...we do no know where they live today..
I was able to determine by further research that Karl Einar Pettersson married Agnes Ingegerd Wallen in 1923.
The reason I am so interested: Fridolf's nephew, Alexander Alfrid Pettersson was my fff. He moved with his two boys from Horn to Linköping about 1901. However, when his two boys immigrated from Sweden to America, they are registered as having lived at Skalgaban 21, Linköping with Fridolf Pettersson (not their father). I find this curious, and wonder what became of the family in Linköping between 1900 and after.
Thanks, friends.
