Swedish Deaths CD Look Up?

Hej,
Looking for where my relative went to in Sweden, he probably lived until 1950.  His name was Ernsth Gustaf (and I think Johansson Malm at the end) and he was born 1892 Dec 5 in Trästen Östregård in Vislanda, Kronobergs län.  
 
I'd be interested in wife and address and all of that.  His parents were Johan Petersson Malm and Ingrid Jonasdotter.  Ingrid is my great grand aunt.

I\ve searched for 1892-12-05, found no person with that name. 32 persons born that day ,dead
1950 - 1970 are not namned and there are no birth-place  told for those persons. It?s not unpossible to find him but it will take quit at time.

Oh no!  That is all I know, except that the family seem to have lost track of this line, which makes me think that he left Vislanda.  Some of the other family members went to Stenbrohult and Agunnaryd.  The family in Liatorp don't seem to know where he went.

I found four more siblings to Ernsth.  These were born in Bästerås, Stenbrohult sn, Kronobergs län.  Father was Jonas, not Johan.  Did any of them live past 1970 so I can have record of where they went...?

I've been looking for these four but unfortunately none of them are mentioned with their names in the CD of Death Records 1950-1999. As Marianne mentions above, if they died between 1950 and 1970 they are not mentioned with their names but only birthdate, death date and death parish so it will be tricky to find them if we don't know where they were living at the time of death.

Theres was a widow who died 1966-01-10 in Stenbrohult who was born 1884-08-02. It could be Pernilla Kristina. I suggest that you write to Stenbrohult parish. Address: Stenbrohults pastorsexpedition, Prästgården, SE-343 71 DIÖ.

Would they be able to tell me more about her husband and children do you suppose?
 
I have one more family and they were born in the 1890s.  Maybe I can get an address this time!  It worked for some old info on cousins my grandmother gave me.  I found the address of a cousin, and his widow was still alive, so I got in contact with family that way.
 
My ggrandfather's sister was:  Anna Kathrina Jonasdotter who married Bengt Germundsson.  They moved to Lönshult, Agunnaryd sn, Kronobergs län and had eight children, I found five:

Olof Julius  född 1890-01-17
Ernst Johan  född 1891-06-22
Ruth Karin  född 1892-09-28
Hildur Linnéa  född 1894-08-14  (she married Karl Emil Petersson  född 1888-05-18)
 
I guess the other three were born after this.  Any help would be very appreciated!!

Hildur Linn?a Pettersson died 1987-06-10 in Tingsmåla Norregård, Tingsryd. Her husband died 1970-06-15.  
 
All the other you have to make guesses about.

Thank you, Karl!  I appreciate the help.  I have a CD that helps me to about 1900 or 1920 in Kronobergs.  Then this death CD doesn't pick up until about 1970.  I need to get those inbetween years.  Can you write the parishes, do you know?  Will they send you information?  Or do you have to hire a genealogist to look these things up?

Hildurs husband died in Tingsås parish, there is no note were he was born. They got married 29.5.1919.
 
I also found, at the CD KGF, that Ernst Johan died 22.10.1891 and his funeral was 1.11.1891.

The Death CD contains all the deaths between the year 1950-1999. The deaths between 1950-1970 you only can search on their birthdates, it does not show their names.
 
I think your family is to old to search for and we need their whole birthdate not just the year.

I have some exact dates on my Färnebo, Värmland family.
 
Knut was born 1875 May 4
Anna was born 1879 Aug 9
 
There father was Nils Pettersson and his daughter went by Nilsdotter in 1890 and then immigrated as Pettersson.  
 
Are there any Pil's or Dahlström's in Horssjöhyttan or Långbanshyttan?  These are the farms where most of my researched family ended up.  The Dahlström's were from Nordvik, Rämmen and Gåsborn even farther back.
 
I appreciate any help!  I REALLY want to find the family of Knut and Anna.  These are the brother and sister of my farmors mor.  She never spoke of them, but I have photos of them.

Please observe that I am not sure that this are your persons but the whoman was the only whoman whith taht birth date that died in Färnebo parish. But, she (anna) could have left the parish and if so there are 72 whomen in the death cd with the same birth date as Anna.

This family SEEMED to stay in Färnebo, Gåsborn, and Rämmen, but maybe they scattered more in the 1900's, their big sister left the country.

Karl Johan Ström are not in this record after 1970. He can be one of them between 1950 and 1970 but there is nothing but Personal number, present parish and date of death.

Hej all!  Thank you very much for all your help!  I just received an email from a relative.  Anna did NOT marry a Ström, but one of the letters found its way to the family home of my farmors mor.  They recognized my family because my farmors morfars far was their own relative.
 
Anna and Knut both married.  Anna died childless and Knut's two children died childless.  BUT there were cousins and I am in touch with them now.  They sent me photos of Beda's house and they have a photo from Colorado that they didn't recognize the people in, of course this is Beda's family, my family!

JUST IN CASE THAT SOMEONE HAS A CD AT HOME AND THEY COULD DO A LOOKUP FOR ME.

The CD with Swedish Death Record lists deaths that took place 1950-1999. Eight men born 27/01 1863 are listed on the CD but none of them lived in Stockholm at the time of death. There are no names on the persons and no record of birth parish. Names do not occur on the record until deaths after October 1970.

I just received a reply from that Filipstad email, it took awhile, but they went through records and traced the very few descendants left for me and gave me some dates.  Maybe some of you could help me piece together the last pieces.
 
Knut Ivar Pettersson född 1911-07-30 i Horrsjöhyttan, Färnebo was still alive in 1991, I imagine he is not now.  Can anyone find him on the Death CD, and where he was?
 
His sister was Olga Maria Pettersson född 1907-05-27 i Horrsjöhyttan, Färnebo.  She married Eskil Carlsson och also moved to Örebro 1938-09-15.  Supposedly they had no children, but they moved away, so it is possible...  I'm still hoping!  I do not have dates for Eskil och I think they were married i Örebro.  Anyone see them on the CD?  Anyone have ideas about how to see if they could have had children?

Knut Ivar Knutsson, born 1911-07-30 in Färnebo, died 1991-09-08. Address: Horrsjö pl 138 Långban, Filipstad parish. (Pl is short for postlåda = mailbox.) His wife was Karin Ragnhild Knutsson, born 1901-04-07 in Stora Tuna parish (province of Dalarna), who died 1984-07-01 on the same address. They married 1947-06-14.
 
Olga Maria Carlsson, born 1907-05-27 in Färnebo, died 1996-08-25 in Filipstad town. She married Eskil Erik Carlsson 1938-11-19. He was born in Olaus Petri parish in the city of Örebro 1909-01-13, and died 1995-05-12 in Filipstad.

Hi Stephanie, the estate inventories (that were made after a person died) always tell the heirs, ie spouse and possible children or otherwise siblings or others who were entitled to inherit.  
The word in Swedish is 'bouppteckning' (plural 'bouppteckningar').
 
These used to be filed and kept by the district court, but that system changed by 1 July 2001. The records at the district court by that date have been transfered (or in a few cases are still in the process) to the Regional Archives. You may therefore check the estate inventories of both siblings and their spouses at the Regional Archives in the county of Värmland, website http://www.ra.se/vla/engelsk.htm.

Thank you very much for the help.  It is too sad that I only just started genealogy, they only died in the last ten years!!  Their aunt did not speak to anyone about Sweden and just this year I found a lost cousin and SHE is the one that had her parents' names.  I have more distant cousins i Värmland but it is so odd that her brother and sister had two descendants and she has 209 currently!  Must be something i the Amerikan air!  
 
I will take a look at that estate site to see if the cousins were mistaken, but if she moved back to Filipstad, they probably did keep in touch.
