Larsson, Evert Arthur Manfred

I am looking for information on my Father's linage, I know he was born Njutångers in Gävleborgs Län on February 2, 1906.
He has/had 2 brothers that I know of:
Henning Larsson was a seaman No date of birth known  
and  
Valentine Larsson.No date of birth known.
Valentine has a son SvenInge But he changed his last name and I do not know the new name, he would be in his late 60s now.  
My father imigrated to The USA New York in 1933.
I would like to know who my grandparents were.
My father said they died when he was very young and that he had gone to sea with his brother Henning when he was 12/15 somewhere within those ages.
The last know home town for Valentine was Hudiksvall).
If anyone can help me in my quest I would appreciate it.

It is kind of hard to find people that is still alive or been born before 1900. You should contact the archive in Härnösand. They can help you to find your grandparents if you only give your fathers name and bithdate and where he was born. They can also give you information of his brothers, and Valentine's son.

I'm sorry but the provincial archives (record office) haven't. You have to contact them to get the information. They have the information that the national registration doesn't have because the people have been dead a couple of years. Hope you find what your looking for. Good luck.

Could Valentin have been born 7 September 1901? Was his full name John Helmer Valentin Larsson? Was he born in Njutånger? If so, he died 27 October 1987. He was divorced 8 December 1959. He did not live in Hudiksvall when he died.

I'm not sure I only Knew of him as Valle (what my father called him)It is possible, and I would like to investigate this further, do you have any additional information?

I have some additional information, but as long as you introduce yourself as Larsson without any first name I wouldn?t give it to you. According to the rules of Anbytarforum you should let us know your first name and family name, not only the family name. So please, let us know your first name and I will tell you more.

Yor uncle Valentin was the one I told you about 18 January. When he died, he lived in Nynäshamn, about 40 km south of Stockholm.
 
Your grandfather was Jonas Larsson, born 24 March 1863. Your grandmother was Brita Mårtensdotter, born 11 June 1872. All according to church records.
