My GG Grandmother (Maria Christina Svensdotter Larson) and my GG Grandfather (Swen Anderson) met on a ship from Sweden to America in 1852.  Supposedly on the way over from Sweden, Maria lost her whole family to malaria and Swen's mother, sister and brother died on the way over of Cholera.  They got together a year or 2 later and got married in 1853 in Minnesota.  I'm trying to find out any info. regarding their journey including the deaths, where the ship came from, where it arrived, and the exact date of sailing.  Also, any info. on those family members that died on the ship and were thrown overboard? (names, etc.).  Any info. would be greatly appreciated.
Maria Born July 14,1830 and Died Sept 15, 1913.
Swen Born March 21, 1822 and Died June 24, 1909.

This is from Emibas and it must be your Maria. There is no date here for her emigration. From the same parish, same year (only states year, not date in this data base) emigrates Sven Larsson and his family. Without even looking at this family I have a feeling it's her family. Maria Stina was probably not living at home anylonger, working at Holmestorp, and that is why she's not listed with them. I will see if I can find some notes in the church records about the family and also see if it's possible to find the ship. At that time they coul;d have left from Germany (Hamburg for ex.) and it may take longer to locate them on a ship (Swedes were often indexed as Germans unfortunately). So, here below I will list the family members, and we'll go from there, OK?
