I need a second opinion on several Genline entries that I'm not sure I'm reading accurately, please.
GID: 516.44.65200 is the place of birth for Caisa Larsdotter.. Mången?
GID: 516.47.2340 entry 16, is the place of marriage Gaperud?
GID: 516.44.76600 Anna Stephansdtr and 78000 Anders Stephansson, what is the place of birth? Rest of children born S. Norum, but these look different.
GID: 516.54.131800 bottom of page, birth year of Caisa Nilsdtr. Is it 1726? Is she listed as wife or mother of Lars Nilsson? She would be 23 years older???
GID: 516.34.13000, hard to read, is Annika Jonasdtr 1765 listed as wife of Stephan 1764?
Thank you to anyone who can help. Karen

1) Sågen
2) States where couple are from - Staffan S. Norum. Cajsa Gaperud.
3)Södra Norum & Norum Söd.
4)I read it that Cajsa is hust. = wife
5)GID 516.34.13000 . I see Pig.=Maid before Annika 1765, but cannot see any Stephan 1764. Where in reference to Annika?

Olle,
I know the image is hard to read, but at the top, it's Anders Stephansson 1726, his wife Annika Håkansdtr 1732, Caisa 1761,Stephan 1764,  1767 not sure of name, 1774 ? then pig. Britta Jonsdtr 1762, pig. ? Bengtsdtr 1768, then looks like Stephan 1764 and then the Annika 1765. I didn't notice the pig. at first, so I see she's no-one's wife. I guess some of them were unrelated people at the same place. I think the 1767 name must be their son Johan born 1 Feb 1767.There is also a daughter Ingrid born 13 Sep 1774, but that image sure looks like it says son???
Caisa and Lars Nilsson were married 31 Nov 1764.On a later household roll I found his birth as 1742. She was a widow 13 years older.
Thank you so much for your response. Karen

Hello Erick,

I see 2 Emma Charlotta born in that place, same year, in the 1900 census. Both are in Naglum. What was her last name?

Hello!

Emma Charlotta was said to be born in Vassända-Naglum and Maria Kristina in Trollhättan.
It looks like Emma Charlotta went from Gothenburg to US 06/21/1895, in the CD Emigranten Populär you can find a lady with that name and on the website One step (on Ellis Island) there is also a lady with that name who could be her.
There is a free website called Slaktdata, where you can find the birthdates of Gustaf Nilssons and Anna Stina Andersdotters children. And also thier deathdates.
There is also a Swedish website (free) finn graven where you can look at Gustafs and Anna Stinas graves in Trollhättan and whome are burried in the same grave.
Sorry to say there is no Maria Kristina, she have either moved to some other place or emigrated, because I can not find her in census for 1900.
Maybe you already know all this, in that case forgive me repeating it.

Hi,
It could be her but in emibas there is no age for her. There is no age for her in the move out records for 1895 either, unfortunately. I will see if I can trace her back some (hh exams does not cover all rotar and places for this time so it might be hard). And then we will have to see if we can locate her on a ship. If we're lucky it'll tell us where she's going, and more details. And if it could be her of course.

I found her on Ellis Island, coming in on Sept 28, 1895. She is listed as being 31 years old, which matches. So does this, which indicates that it's a least the same person arriving in September, if she's leaving G-borg 2 weeks earlier. Now back to household records, I have to find her somewhere!

According to  Emiweb did a woman Mathilda Charlotta Nilsdotter, born in Björkö 03/29/1849 to North America 04/21/1869. She left the parish Skede, Rösa Lillegård, pag 24. This is maybe the woman Mathilda Charlotta Engström, because her brother Johan born in Björkö 1842, went to US 1865 and he used the surename Nilsson Engström and when he once more from Karlskoga, Örebro county, went to US 1867, he only used surename Engström. Mathildas sister Johanna also used the surename Nilsson Engström when she emigrated 1868.

And YES! It's her. I followed her backwards in the various places, and finally in 1892 I could find a note on what folio in the hh records she would be leaving from (to move to the Domkyrkoforsamlingen);

She is Emma Charlotta Gustafsdotter, b Naglum, 1863, 10/15!

So now you have yourself an Emma to look for in the US.
