Hi, I am trying to find the parents of Gustav Bodin. I was told that he was born 1823-08-01 in Nätra parish. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you sure that he was born 1923-08-01? I cannot finde any Gustav born in Nätra at that date.

I have found a Gustav Bodin born 1828 in Nättra according the Sv Bef 1890 he vas living in Sundsvall  as a shoemaker and were married with Anna Elisabeth Eriksdotter, can it be him you seek?

Hi,
Yes, Gustav was married to Anna Elisabet Eriksdotter. As I stated earlier, I was told he was born in 1823, but I did not have documentation of his birth.

Hi,
I just got a 24 hour subscription to Genline and I was able to locate Gustav's parents Jonas Hellman and Anna Sophia Jansdotter. Gustav was born 1828-08-01. Now I have a couple other questions, if you would be so kind to help me with.
Jonas Hellman and Anna Sophia are listed in the Husförhör page 2069.34.73400 along with children Gustaf and Maja. Could the family (Erik Hellman) located right below Jonas be his father? Or is Hellman a military name?

Erik has the surname Vesterlund, not Hellman, so I don't think there is any special reason to think he is Jonas Hellman's father.

Hi,
My 24 hour subscription to Genline is over and I'd like to know if someone can check 2069.34.73400. The family of Jonas Hellman. I can't tell if the daughter's name is Maja Stina or Maja Lisa born in 1824. Some of the pages in Genline were very dark and I was not able to lighten them up enough and I was not able to locate her birthdate. Can someone help me find her birthdate?

I think it is Maja Stina born 1824.
 
I don't see her in the Nätra birth records for 1824 (GID 2069.8.18400), and not her brother Gustaf 1827 (GID 2069.8.19900).
 
Perhaps the family had moved in from another parish?

Thank you. I know the birth year for Gustaf in that Husförhör is wrong. Urban found his birth on 1828-08-01 in Nätra. Maybe Maja Stina's is incorrect as well. I was able to locate her parent's marriage in Nätra on 1824-11-07 (Jonas Hellman and Anna Sophia Jansdotter). Could her birth year aslo be one year later? How would I go about finding where she was born? Do I have to literally go through each parish record one by one?

In Gustaf's birth record 1 Aug 1828 in Nätra (GID 2069.8.20800) the parents don't live at Bergom, the placenäme is different. Perhaps beginning Nä- or Nå-?
 
So maybe you can find them at this mystery place in the Nätra 1818-1828 or 1829-1839 HFL.

I found Jonas and Anna Sophia in the 1829-1839 HFL, and the family is in Bergom 2069.34.73400. Thier son Johan was born in Nätra in 1831. I wonder why he was not listed in the HFL with his parents and 2 siblings? Could they be listed twice in this book?
I have also checked the 2069.8 C:1 Födde, Dop 1809-1859 and can not find Maja Stina's birth. Since the Inflyttning, Utflyttning only covers the years 1765-1771 and 1856-1865, how would I go about finding records if the family moved out of Nätra and back to Nätra at a later date?
