I am trying very hard to locate the descendants of  
 
HÅKAN (Hakon) HALDOSSON born March 17, 1839 in Tunsetts prestegjeld, Norway, and  
INGEBORG SVENSDOTTER, born July 13, 1841, Lövberga, Ström.
 
Their children, all born in Ström, are:
Ingrid b.1871  
Sven b.1872  
I believe he emigrated to the America in 1905, but I do not know what name he adopted, nor where he lived.
Bengta b.1875  
Ingeborg b.1877  
My Grandmother; emigrated to Spokane, Washington, America in 1905 with my Grandfather, Johan Erik Funseth.
Kristina b.1881  
I have a beautiful picture of an elegant Kristina at my Grandmother's wedding in Ström, 1901.
Haldo b.1885  
Haldo is also in this photo at my Grandmother's wedding.
Maria b.1889  
A very young and beautifully dressed Maria is in photo sitting next to Kristina and Ingeborg.
 
This has long been my most treasured photograph. I would love to share it with Håkan and Ingeborg's descendants.
 
If you are, or you know of any descendants of my grandmother's brothers and sisters, or know the names they later used, I would really appreciate hearing from you.

I?m not a relative, but I looked on a CD with all that have died in Sweden between 1947-2003. If you have had thier birthday it had been more easy. The only guess I can give are two Marias born 1889 in Ström
Maria Jonsson b.1889aug09 died 1970feb08 she was married but became a widow 1915feb05.
Maria Hammarström b.1889mar25 died 1966jan04 she was married 1917sep12 and divorced 1936oct9.
There are also two Kristina born 1881
Kristina Blomberg b1881feb16 died 1961sep02 she was married 1914jun24 with Nils Blomberg b1883apr25 and died 1969jun23
Kristina Strömstedt b1881apr08 died 1971apr07 married Erik Gustaf Strömstedt b1883mar27 died 1972dec17.
You can also put this questions under the parish Ström and see if there are anybody who know better. ( from the first side on this webside click Landskap next jämtland next socknar and the last ström and write for help.

I mistakenly put Maria date as 1889, when it is apparently 19 July, 1884. My grandmother had given me two different dates.

Spelling changes again, which is frustrating at times as we search. I suppose Håkan's name was written in a more Swedish way but Bington was probably a misunderstanding from your relative's records. I think Bengta is more likely to be the correct name.

Håkon and Ingeborg also had a girl namned Bengta born  24/2 1869 and one namned Maria born 19/1 1884 she died 25/1 1884. (They also had a Maria born 25/3 1889) Håkon and Ingeborg married in 1868. Ingeborg had a brother namned Jonas and he is my fathers great grandfather. I?m searching for photos of relatives and I would be very happy if you could send me a copy of yours.

That was an accident...Ingeborg and Jonas had a brother namned Eric, born 14/1 1830, who emigrated to the North America in 1868 (30/10). He was a carpenter, had you ever heard about him???

I had heard about Eric from my grandmother, Ingeborg Håkansdotter, but never learned where he settled.  Ingeborg, Johan Erik Funseth, Edvard Funseth and Ingeborg's brother Sven Håkansson emigrated together from Stromsund in 1905 and probably made contact with Eric or his family in 1905 on their way to Spokane, Washington. Do you know what name Eric used when he arrived?
 
Among your fotos do you have any of Håkan or Ingeborg or their family? Let me know the foto # so I can look at them.
