Hilda Christina Swanson

I am looking for further information about my Great Grandmother,  Hilda Christina Swanson. Information I have is that she was born 1865-03-05 in the parish of Sund, as a daughter of the crofter (torpare) Sven Pettersson and his wife Maria Olofsdotter in Damstugan, Lilla Bräng.
Sven Pettersson was born 1827-09-24 in Sund Söcken, and died there 1857-06-18. In 1853 he married Maja Lena Olofsdotter, who was born 1828-01-13, in the parish of Askeryd. They had 2 daughters:  Maria Charlotta, born 1854-04-17 in Sund, and Hilda Christina.  
I am not sure of when Hilda emmigrated to America but I do know that it was prior to February of 1879, because she was married to my great Grand father Carl W. Peterson on February 05, 1879.
Any further information you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

CORRECTION: I do know when she emigrated to America. It was in 1875. Hilda Christina Swanson or could it possibly have been Svensdötter?
