Hello. I hope that my posting this in English is not a problem. I am doing the genealogy of a friend and have reason to believe the ancestor I am seeking is from Hällefors. His name is John Nels Johnson and he was born in July 1854. He emigrated to Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, USA in 1880. I do not have the Ancestry Subscription for the Immigration records, but am waiting for a friend to find it for me.
He married, in Chicago, another Swedish immigrant, Christina Bundeson or Boudson, born May 1861 in Sweden. Perhaps she was also from Hällefors?
Could someone see if they can find these two people for me?
