I am trying to find imformation on MY
grandparents who came from Sweden . theri
names were  Andrew Larson Larson was
Andrew's  last name in Sweden and he
changed his last name to Peterson when he
came to America). Andrew was born iApril 26,
1875 in Haganas , Sweden and died 1964 in
Boone, Iowa. His father was Peter Larson and
mother kate Anderson. I think he had other
brothers too. As far as I know , he came to
America as a young man alone.
Sophia Ingeborg Johnson was born Dec. 1st
or 7th 1876 or 1877 in Dalsland, Sweden and
died in Boone, IOwa 1957. Her parents were
Anna L .Johnson and  John Johnson (.Anna
was married to an Magnus Olson before she
married John Johnson). Out of the Olson
marriage; there was a child -Ida Olson who
would be Sophia' s half sister . Sophia had
another sister Mae G ( I think this was her
Name) , and Frank Julius Johnson Born
1865-1875.
Anna and the children left for America in 1881
and left the husband John Johnson there in
Sweden because he got a young girl
pregnant.
I would like to know how to trace John
Johnson who stayed in Sweden as far as I
know and i would like to know the name of the
child that he had out of wedlock. by another
woman. I would also like to know about Anna
L Peterson's folks and John Johnson's folks
and Andrew Larson's folks like what they did
for a living and where they lived and if there
are anyother brothers or sisters and what their
names are.
I would like to know where they left to go to
America and their route to America.
If anyone could help me ; I thank you in
advandce.

Maxine, from the info you list here it seems that you might be helped a little by the information that is listed at Swedish Roots. There are a number of things to be found in American sources before trying to cross the ocean.
