I am picking up this research again after several years.
I am hoping someone can help with reading and translating this birth record.

I used to use Genline, but this was found using the Ancestry.com interface.  It appears to correspond to GID 2712.37.96900.

This appears to be 17 Oct 1728
Stockholm
Svea livgarde
Födde (Births)
1717 - 1735 (C:1)

Thanks,
Art

I get about half or so of it. Some french and german words and spellings appears to have been used.

This is my transcription of it (I have marked out the parts where I am a bit uncertain):
(first column)
Hans
Grenadr af W Ca
pitain Wrangels
compagnie Nils
Bargren und
Maria Persdotter
(second column)
KrukmakaregeSäl[?? this is my attempt]
len[continuation from previous line] Anders JoensSon
hustru Catharina
Brunberg
(joined first and second column)
Efter[?] Bergren sedan fick tilstånd att taga Maria Pers
dotter til sin hustru, så fal[?] den na anteckning, som
de här hafvom[?] sitt mina, föras til pag: 189.
(third column)
d22 Modren Maria Andersdotter sadr[?]
i faddrarnas nämnen at Grena
dieren Peter Österlöf af W Ca
pitain Wrangels compagnie
war fader[?] til barnet och af
Son af[?] honom[?] andra ächten
skap hofvum man[?war?] hustrus

This I would attempt to translate as:
(first column)
Hans
Grenadr[Grenadier] of W(stands for Wälborne, like Esquire) Captain Wrangel's company Nils Bargren and Maria Persdotter
(second column)
Potter journeyman(I hope this is the correct translation of gesäll) Anders JoensSon
Mrs Catharina Brunberg
(joined first and second column)
After[?] Bargren then got permission to take Maria Persdotter has his wife, so fal[???] this note, as they here have their mine (this does not make entirely sense to me), be brought to pag: 189.
(third column)
the22 The mother Maria Andersdotter sadr[????] in the godparents mentioned/said that the Grenadier Peter Österlöf of W Captain Wrangel's company was father[?] to the child and of Son of[?] him[?] second marriage have man[?was?] wife's

My transcription ans translation does not always makes sense, although I wonder whether you actually are interested in the third column.

Someone better than me at this should check the transcript and translation for mistakes.

Martin, thank you for your effort.  I'm pretty sure that this child was illegitimate and the parents were married the following January.  Interesting in that Nils Bargren had married a Christina Lind earlier the same year (26 May) who then soon died (6 Jul).
This Hans dies soon after and 01 Apr 1730 my 4th great grandfather is born and also named Hans.  Nils' patronymic name was Hansson, so this was probably the custom of naming first born son after paternal grandfather.

I think I can make a bit more sense of the third column:

d22 Modren Maria Andersdotter sade
i faddrarnas närvaro at Grena
dieren Peter Österlöf af W Ca
pitain Wrangels compagnie
war fader til barnet och at
hon af honom under ächten
skap lofven war häfdad

Which means:
The mother Maria Andersdotter said, in the presence of the witnesses of the baptism, that the Grenadier Peter Österlöf of W. Captain Wrangel's company was the father of the child and that he had had intercourse with her under promise of marriage.

I am a bit confused!  The first part of the record indicates that the parents were Nils Bargren and Maria Persdotter (who get married the following Jan.)  The third column does look like Maria Andersdotter.  Was she the mother of the child or the mother of one of the parents?

The third column, which in fact is the first column on the next page,  shows the birth of Anna Stina in April 1730

Mats,

Thank you for pointing out my blunder.  After going back and looking at the source, what you said is very obvious.
