S = son D = Daughter. What does B mean?

Hello all,  
1. I'm looking at a församlings book from 1900-08 and I see on line 5 an H for hustru (wife) and on lines 7 and 8 an S for son. On line 6, what does B stand for? I thought it stood for barn (child) but now that there are two more children in the family, I see it doesn't. I know Axel T.T. is Axel J.'s son, but why the B?
 
2. While I'm posting, could anyone clarify what 23 115/1888 at the end of line 4 in columns 14 and 15 means? I've seen it twice before in Kristdala C12 (1895-99) b129 s133 and Gråmanstorp (Klippan) AI:18 (1890-1900) b5 s1.
 
3. Third thing: To get the attachment down to 200Kb (maximum size for attachments) I had to save it as black and white. I've seen full color attachments in other posts. What's the secret? Smaller dimensions of the jpg/bmp?

Hi Diane,
1. At a closer look it is clear that the lines 4, 5 and 6 were written by one person (vicar) when the family were transported from previos book year 1900. He used the letter B for barn/children. When the twins were born 1903 it was recorded by an other vicar who used the letter S for son. You can se the handwriting is different. All vicars had their own way to record in the books, so it can be big differences in how to read them.
 
2. 23 115/1888 is Axel Jonathan´s military number. He got it when he was recorded in the military service and it follows all life. He got the personal number 115 year 1888 in area of company 23 (Kinnevad) in the area of regiment Kronoberg (Kinnevads kompaniområde, Kronobergs regementes inskrivningsområde).  
 
3. Sorry, can´t help you. I have never made any attachments. Hope someone else can help you with this problem.

3. You don't have to attach e picture. Just give the reference. Most people on this forum subscribe to the church books and prefer to open the picture in full scale. But if you do, make the attachment in the jpg format.

I have to correct Ann a little.
In the military number, 23 115/1888, 23 is his personal number and 115 is the company area.
 
Company area 115 is Gripsholm Company, belonging to the regiment of Södermanland.
 
In 1888 Axel Jonathan was living in Södertälje in Södermanland.
