Anyone in US who likes to cooperate?

I like to find anyone in US with roots from Sweden who can help me to find what happened to my relatives who emigrated to USA. I have no access to American databases and I do not know much about the American geography.
From my side I can help with Swedish language translations, geography and history. I have also access to Swedish household examinations and a number om CD:s with information.
Anyone interested?

Hi Marie-Louise - I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I'd be willing to give it a try.  Can you share some additional information about your relatives? I'll start with a quick look at US census information.  I know quite a number of Swedes settled in the Lindsborg, Kansas area - perhaps that's where your family ended up?

An easier way to find volunteers in USA is to use the message boards of Ancestry/Rootsweb or Genforum. Even try with RAOGK (http://www.raogk.org/ )

I am new to this forum so just came across the requests for help in tracing Swedish people who emigrated to the US.  My great-grandparents were from Kalmar and Blekinge and they all pretty much moved to New Jersey for the access to ship building and seaman's work......including the Norwegians on my other side.  I have access to Ancestry and would be glad to try and help. I also have a Swedish Genealogical Dictionary to help me along.
