Andersson, Swan August b1864 (parish unknown). Emigr abt 1882 - Birthplace ?

Hello,
 
I am searching for the birthplace of my g-g-grandfather, Swan August Anderson. I have only the year of his birth- 1864. He went by August in most of the USA records and emmigrated abt 1882.  
 
He married Sara Victoria Johansson (see below) in Bessemer, Gogebic, Michigan in 1888. He was a policeman but later operated or owned a boarding house in Ironwood, MI. The family moved to Duluth, St. Louis, Minnesota circa 1905. August died in Duluth on 10 August 1925. It has taken me almost 20 years to find his death date.
 
His parents were listed on his marriage and death certificate as Andus/Anders Swenson/Swanson and Patronilla Pearson/Person.  
 
Any help locating his birth place, parents, siblings, or other relatives is genuinely appreciated! I have extensive information on his descendants that I'd love to share.

Jöns Peter Andersson, born 20 august, 1860, Jonstorp parish, Malmöhus or Skåne County
He moved to America 22 april, 1881
 
I also belive that they married 1858 in Väsby
Anders Svensson and Pernilla Persdotter was married
13 february, 1858 in Wäsby, Malmöhus or Skåne County.

Sven August's sister Johanna Andersdotter (b. 1858) got married in 1878 in Jonstorp, Malmöhus county, to Nils Peter Andersson Knafve , a helmsman,(b. 1849 in Brunnby, Malmöhus county, d. 1887 in Brunnby, Malmöhus county), This couple got a son Lars Albin Andersson Knafve, b. in Brunnby, Malmöhus county, on November 29, 1878. He died in Brunnby 1962, November 7, married man.
His wife was Helfrid Sofia Knafve, b. in Ålem, Kalmar county, 1877. She died in Brunnby October 1977.

Monica and Bo, I can't possibly tell you how much this means to me. My eyes welled up with tears this morning when I saw your messages. August has been a brick wall for so, so, so long. This is just amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The right date is 29 august, 1860, in Kullebergstorp, Jonstorp, Malmöhus County.
