I have only one goal in joining this forum and that is to find anything from any one regarding BERNDT PETTER BERNDTSSON, Bua # 18,Varo Parish,Hallands Lan, born 18 April 1830, who left his wife and 4 young (youngest: less than 6 months old)on 31 March, 1866, in the company of +/- 10 other young men to go America to find a place where their families could settle together and never returned. As of that date he has DISSAPEARED and after years of searching Swedish and American records, with the help of many people, including professional researcers have found NOTHING; not even a clue! This is my last hope. Someone out there may know something about him. Please help me. Tack, tack, tusen tack! Richard
