He was a sailor and arrived to USA around 1895 - 1900.

You have absolute right, he is born 1872, not 1882, I made a misstake.  And yes, his is a son of Anna Maria Månsdotter and David (Dawid) Ekstedt. I realy hope that this is the right guy. I don´t have the same day of birth, i found in several places that his is born 20 of may, but otherwise it looks realy good.
