I've not been able to locate her on the CD in 1890 as the name Walbert probably was taken in the US. However, she is found on a trip to Sweden in 1909. See a related question here Anbytarforum: Discussions in English: Emigrants: Walbert, Andrew John which looks likely to be her family - if she later marries to be Mrs C Veleta.

Since Feb I was able to find more information on Clara and her mother Maria.
 
Maria name was Maja Lisa Johannesdotter b 2 Apr 1833 in Jarn, Grinstad.
 
She was married to to Lars Andersson 8 Nov 1857.
Lar died in 1875.
 
Can you please retry.  Also, why the name change to Walbert?

In the comments following the question which Eva points at, Rustan Gandvik has given the answer. I quote  And finally, their mother looks to be the Maria Lisa Johannesson, 57y from Grinstad who left Gothenburg 1890 Nov 21 with ticket to New York. Maria, a daughter 16y accompanied her. This could be Clara.

I see Frans Gustafson his son Emigrating to Chicago, USA via Liverpool & Queenstown on 4/11/1892 and with him was an Olivia Nilsson age 39. if that is any help in finding this family of mine.

The Naglum births 1838-1842 is in Vänersborg C:4, see the volume index in GID 1926.7.27600, [Älvsborg] Naglum, C.2, Births, 1701-1743, Image 3.
 
Unfortunately, there is no Gustaf with father Nils born 20 Mar 1840 in Naglum, GID 735.13.13000, [Älvsborg] Vänersborg, C.4, Births, 1838-1860, page 464, Image 130.
 
So the birth info for Gustaf Nilsson seems to be in error.
 
The census 1900 has his birthplace as Vassända-Naglum, but he is not in the Vassända birth Mar 1840 either (GID 735.13.11700).
 
So try tracing him backwards, in the previous HFL he is recorded with birth-date 21 Sep 1840, and with more children including Emma Charlotta born 15 Oct 1863. GID 2697.7.10500, [Älvsborg] Trollhättan, AI.5, Household examination, 1884-1890, page 110, Image 105.
 
And there is a Gustaf born 21 Sep 1840 in Naglum, parents torpare Nils larsson at Sanna and wife Crist. Jansdotter age 40, GID 735.13.13100, [Älvsborg] Vänersborg, C.4, Births, 1838-1860, 466, Image 131.
 
The family is at the torp Sanna under Forsered in GID 1926.2.9400, [Älvsborg] Naglum,  AI.6, Household examination, 1840-1845, page 198, Image 94.
 
Also in the next HFL GID 1926.5.111900, [Älvsborg] Naglum, AI.9, Household examination, 1846-1856, page 213, Image 117.

BTW, the son Frans Oskar born 1867-12-27 Trollhättan is recorded with his parents in the census 1900.

So perhaps it is a different Frans Gustafsson that you have found.

So there is some error in birth-year and/or birth-place.
 
You will have to follow Nils Larsson backwards in the household records, to see where and when he was born.

Can we determine who their parents where?
