1887 Frida C Larsdotter - Vittinge, Vastmanland

I am looking for birth and household examination records for Frida Charlotte Larsdotter.  She was born in Vittinge, Vastmanland Lan November 17,1887.  I have been to the Genline records and there is very little on this parish.  Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated!  My daughter is currently studying in Jonskoping and we'd be thrilled to discover relatives!  Thank you in advance.

So sorry, I must be dyslexic!  Frida Charlotte Larsd., born Nov 17, 1878 according to Connecticut State Death Certificate.  Birthplace listed as Wittinge Sweden  (probably anglicized).

US Census 1900 states month and year of birth, - did you check?
When do you have her immigrating? Did she travel alone?  
Frida can be short for Elfrida, but still no luck in Vittinge.

This whole search began with my grandparents' death certificates, which info is typically accurate.  I haven't found Frida on the 1900 Census because I don't know her address at that time.  She was married in 1904 in NYC, but her place of residence is listed as Greenwich, CT.  1920 and 1930 list only her age at last birthday.  1930 Census lists her immigration date as 1894.

Jim, here's a good candidate for Frida Charlotta in the 1900 census.  The immigration year is off by a year, but that wasn't too unusual.

This is quite good info!  My grandfather Theodor was a carpenter / builder in Greenwich CT early in the 1900's, and it is likely he was working on a job for the Bailey family.  (Lots of wealthy people in Greenwich at that time, and if they had servants they probably did not struggle much with home improvement projects.)  I'd guess that young Theodor's blue eyes caught site of young Frida's, and the rest (as they say) is history.
