Eriksson, Olof Axel, b1925. Emigr from Stockholm 1967

Need som help finding information about my uncle Olle. According to my aunt he emmigrated to Australia about 1967 to work as a rock blaster, but quited the company (I'm not sure if the comp. was Australian or Swedish) as there were to much drinking in the team. I don't know if he went there by boat or aircraft. He probably travelled across Australia and worked at a cheep farm for a while and he also dug for opals. My aunt last heard from him in the early seventies. In 1977 my grandmother died, then my father and aunt started to search for Olle without success.
Is there anyone who is familiar with this kind of problem and has som tips how to find out what happned to him, I assume he must have died in the seventies - but I'm not sure.

I've now managed to find Olle in National Archive of Australia and immigrants. He left Stockholm 25th of Jan 1967. Any tip how I go further with his life in Australia?
