Hi! My relatives came from Björna parish- (Västernorrland). They lived in Björna, and then Hemling before they left to emigrate to Canada in May of 1913. Their names: Nils, Edla Kristina and their children- Gottnar and Gerda HEDBERG.  
 
I have had much help and luck locating information for Nil's mother...I would love to be able to find out who Nil's fathers parents and siblings were. Nils father's name was Sven Jonsson Hedberg and he was born in 1837 in Anundsjö parish, Västernorrland.  
According to the 1890 census, Sven Jonsson Hedberg and his family (wife-Sigrid and children-Jonas, Märta, Nils, Sven, Sigrid and Jakob)lived in a place called Häggsjöbäcken (Anundsjö parish). While I was looking around that site ...I checked the statistics portion and found that at the time of the census there were apparently only two families in Häggsjöbäcken (Anundsjö parish). The mother listed for the other family was: Stina Magdalena JONSDOTTER. I realize that name could have been quite common (Jonsdotter) but...could this possibly be Sven Jonsson's sister? Häggsjöbäcken appears to have been a very small place (?) in Anundsjö parish...at the time of the census of 1890 anyway.  
 
Your comments (and possible confirmation, additional information!!) would be much appreciated...

In the book 'Anundsjö släkter och gårdar' (Families and farms of Anundsjö) p 103 I find under Häggsjöbäcken that Stina Magdalena Jonsdotter was most likely NOT Sven Jonsson Hedbergs sister. She was born in Tegelträsk, Åsele parish in 1839; he was born in Ödsbyn (Anundsjö) in 1837. Sven's parents were later farmers on Hädanberg 4:7, and on p. 96 we can see that his father was Jon Svensson, b. 1812 on Ödsbyn 1:2, his mother Anna Greta Svensdotter, b. 1817 on Västergensjö 2:2. He died in 1885, she in 1888, they got married (most certainly in Anundsjö) in 1837.
On p. 337 (Ödsbyn) we can read that Jon Svensson's parents were Sven Nilsson (1783, Ödsbyn 1:1-1862) and Stina Jonsdotter(1786, Sörmesunda 1:1 -1872) married in 1807 (in Anundsjö, supposedly). Sven Nilsson's parents were Nils Olofsson (1741, Näs-1813) and Ingeborg Edvardsdotter (1748, Sörflärke -1810) married in 1769.
Nils Olofsson's parents were Olof Nilsson, (1710, Näs 3:1-1769) and Kristin Ersdotter (1710,Yttersel 3:1-1769) married in 1737.
Anna Greta Svensdotter's parents in Västergensjö (p. 308) were Sven Jonsson (1789, Sörflärke 6:5-1866) and Märet Salmonsdotter(1789, Norrflärke 5:1-1862) married in 1809.
Stina Jonsdotter's parents at Sörmesunda 1:1 (p.284) were Jon Christopherson (1756, Sörmesunda-1831) and Karin Jonsdotter (1760, Risbäck-1819) married in 1783. Jon Christopherson's parents were Christopher Pärson (1719, Näs 6:1-1793) and Kerstin Jonsdotter (1715, Sörmesunda 1:1-1802) married in 1742.  
I could go on and follow all your lines for a long time, probably well into the early 17th century, but that was at least a teaser for you.

Did this book on Anundsjö farms and families note any siblings to Sven Jonsson Hedberg?

The book is structured so that you can see where a person is born and who was the proprietor of a certain farm at a given point of time, but you don't get the information on which children a given person had. That means that you can trace people backwards in time but not forward. So I really don't know anything about Sven's siblings. To find that I guess you have to go to the original church records, which I don't have.
 
Let's keep in touch - we probably have some common ancestors (most of my mother's ancestors come from the region in and around Anundsjö!).

From the book Anundsjö släkter och gårdar I have found five siblings to Sven Jonsson Hedberg, all of them born at Hädanberg 4:7.
1. JONAS JONSSON HEDBERG born in 1839,
   married 1) in 1865 to Sara Lisa Israelsdotter,
   born in 1845 in Norrflärke, died in 1892,
   married 2) in 1893 to Anna Kajsa Nilsdotter,
   born in 1863 in Hädanberg 5:2.
Jonas lived in Hädanberg 2:3 1873-1875, and in Hädanberg 6:4 1875-1895.
2. MÄRTA STINA JONSDOTTER born in 1841,
   married  in 1864 to Olof Larsson, born in 1839  
   Näs 4:3
3. SALOMON JONSSON born in 1843, married in 1871
   to Märta Catharina Svensdotter born in 1845
   Storborgaren 1:4.
4. INGA CATHARINA JONSDOTTER born in 1845,
   in 1878 to Pehr Olofsson born in 1851,
   Hädanberg 5:4.
5. ANNA MARIA JONSDOTTER born in 1856, married in
   1875 to Olof Eriksson born in 1851, Nordsjö
   1:6.
 
   All these places are located in Anundsjö
   parish.
